It is the last (working) day of #ChocolateWeek this week and if you haven’t already, make sure you use this time as an excuse to indulge in anything that is sweet, brown and delicious!
I have made it PRIORITY to have something chocolately every day.
Monday: I had Tesco’s finest chocolate mousse. This was delicious! I used to get these all the time on my way home from work but then I moved house. Now I am back again, it would be rude not to pop in to Tesco seeing as though it’s on my way home. This mousse it’s the perfect size and richness to curb your sweet tooth with a nice smooth yet fluffy texture.
Tuesday: I had a cheeky free sample of Costa coffee’s Belgian chocolate brownie. Millbank Tower (the building I work in) do a coffee delivery service and with that they gave a little sample of the brownie – it was yummy! It had nuts in it though, so if you have an allergy stay clear, but the crunch worked really well with the softness.
Wednesday: I had Mcvities chocolate orange digestive biscuits. These were amazing! I find that just the original digestives are quite boring so the small hint of orange made them much better. I will definitely be stocking up on those.
Thursday: I had brownie 2 of the week, but this time it was “Chefs dessert of the day” at Reels Millbank. (See the image – it speaks for itself) I was not expecting what I got. The brownies had a sweet glaze and giant nuts in them (again, not for those with an allergy.) You could tell they were homemade and accompanying them was a hearty portion of homemade ice cream and fresh strawberries. These were seriously worth the money and one of the best brownies I have ever tried!
Friday: I saved myself for the #TGIF treat! Large hot chocolate and Belgian chocolate brownie from Reels Millbank – only £3 which actually gives you a saving of £1.35 compared to the usual price! A big double chocolate fix but well needed after a long week.
Hope you all had a chocolately chocolate week!
